Terms and Conditions of Use

Cross Contamination
All products are made in an environment that handles GLUTEN (WHEAT), SOYA, NUTS, EGGS, MILK and ALCOHOL. We make every effort to avoid cross contamination, however it is possible that our “made without” products may contain traces and therefore are only suitable for those with an intolerance and not those with an allergy.

Fresh Flowers
When asked to work with fresh flowers supplied by a third party Foxwood reserves the right to refuse. We accept no responsibility for the toxicity, quality or lifespan of the flowers provided. Please note that we are unable to work with hand picked “garden” flowers due to their delicate stems. In the event of a third party supplier not adhering to the agreed delivery time, Foxwood may be unable to proceed with the arranged floral display.

Cake Stands & Tables
Foxwood reserves the right to refuse to setup a cake in the requested location if the stand or table are considered unstable. In this instance Foxwood will place the cake on a suitable surface in the care of a senior member of staff, photographic evidence of safe delivery will be taken and the time stamp documented. Foxwood accepts no liability for damage incurred once delivery has been made.

Temperature
Due to the nature of our product Foxwood reserves the right to refuse delivery should the temperature of the venue exceed 30°. If delivery is made and sufficient refrigeration cannot be provided Foxwood will advise a senior member of staff that the time of cake cutting must be brought forward. It is the clients responsibility to ensure the relevant measures are taken to avoid a cake being left in direct sunlight or humid conditions.

Outside Events & Marquees
Outdoor delivery is requested at the customer’s own risk. We cannot be held responsible for the presence of ants, wasps or any other insects upon delivery and/or setup. Foxwood reserves the right to refuse outdoor setup if rain or strong winds are anticipated or in progress. In the event of adverse weather conditions set up and therefore liability will be relinquished to the venues catering staff.

Delivery
Once a delivery has taken place, all responsibility for the safekeeping of the cake is transferred to the venue. Time stamped photographic evidence will be taken before we depart and under no circumstances should a cake be moved unless we have been notified. Foxwood accepts no liability for damage incurred once delivery has been made.

Collection
We no longer offer a collection service.

Cake Cutting
Serving numbers are approximate and purely recommended. It is at the behest of the venues catering staff to follow the cutting guides provided. Please note that all our cakes contain internal supports such as straws or dowels which will need to be removed prior to serving.

Non Toxic Decoration
Where sugar flowers are part of a design the client accepts the use of non toxic supports such as food safe cocktail sticks and florist wire. Although they may be edible, in most cases, they are intended as decoration only – we do not recommend eating our sugar botanicals. Our chosen brand of gold/silver leaf and pearl lustre dusts are entirely edible, however our copper/rose gold leaf and brand of glitter is not. All glitter is defined as non toxic and there for food safe but should not be consumed in quantity. We advise the removal of all glitter embellishments prior to consumption. Copper and rose gold leaf are only ever used on false tiers and separators.
